Microsoft Store taps R.R.Donnelley & Sons to boost in-store marketing strategy with digital signage – Retail Customer Experience

Microsoft Store is partnering with R.R. Donnelly & Sons Company, a multichannel marketing and business communications provider, for creative and print support to drive a compelling and responsive in-store customer experience.

The retail brand is consolidating work for in-store signage across all Microsoft Store locations in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada, according to a press release.

Microsoft Store will utilize RRD’s technology to automate sign-building workflows, while providing needed flexibility to customize content and pricing at different store locations.

This accelerates the entire process and enables each retail location to react to any changes with new signage in a matter of hours — not days, according to the release.

“RRD’s expertise and technology-based retail solutions ensure seamless creative, production and execution, which will help Microsoft Store achieve their in-store marketing goals,” said Doug Ryan, president of RRD marketing solutions, in the release. “From the creation and production of engaging content to printing, shipping, and even installation, RRD is a one-stop shop for retail brands looking to gain an edge in a competitive market.”
