MINCOQUA – One Northwoods community is taking a new approach to marketing itself as a destination for tourists.
The Minocqua Chamber of Commerce recently launched a rebrand; the organization changing its name to “Let’s Minocqua!”
The new Let’s Minocqua logo shows the organization still promotes Arbor Vitae and Woodruff as well. People can spot the new logo in the town visitor’s center and in the 2020 destination guide.
Executive director Krystal Westfahl says the new brand is a call to action.
“It becomes this exciting descriptor of what we’re going to go do when we go the Northwods,” said Westfahl.
Westfahl says the rebrand will showcase the Chamber’s work marketing local business.
“So this one brand really encompasses all the things we do between the visitors bureau, the visitors center, the convention and sports marketing that we do as well as all of those other pieces,” said Westfahl.
Along with the name change, the Chamber will be launch a new website in April.
