Upkar Singh Ahuja, president, CICU, shared his business experience with the industrialists of Shimla Puri here on Sunday.
He said SMEs could grow by using small tips such as better technology, better management, efficiency, some useful applications. Minor changes and adoption of new technology brought desired results, said Ahuja.
Tejwinder Singh, CMD, Big Ben Group of Companies, said the industrialists should be passionate about their work. He said the competency training was playing an important role in achieving goals.
Rahul Ahuja, Director, Rajnish Group of Industries, emphasised that a businessman should run his business with discipline, while SB Singh of Taaran Industries emphasised on the competitive environment. He said it was becoming increasingly difficult for micro and small industries to grow as they lack knowledge about products, which they use for manufacturing/ technology. He said the industrialists should take necessary steps by updating their knowledge.
Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU, said the industrialists should attend such programmes regularly. A vote of thanks was presented by Angad Singh, Joint Secretary, CICU, and he also shared some useful thoughts for changing the mindset of industrialists.
The programme was attended by more than 115 industrialists of the Shimla Puri, Janta Nagar and nearby areas.
