Law360 (June 5, 2018, 9:39 PM EDT) — The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reached an $8 million settlement on Tuesday in an administrative proceeding with a marketing firm and its affiliate accused of inflating subscriber numbers used to measure financial performance.

Endurance International Group Holdings Inc. and Constant Contact Inc., which Endurance bought in 2016 for $1.1 billion, agreed in a cease-and-desist order with the SEC to pay an $8 million civil penalty and promised to produce all requested information, documents and testimony in the agency’s investigation without admitting or denying the allegations….
