RICHFIELD, MN — For the first time in nearly three decades, Richfield-based Best Buy has updated its logo. “It’s now more modern and easier to read, especially in today’s digital world,” the company announced Wednesday.
In the new logo, “Best Buy” still appears in bold, black font, but now resides outside of the company’s signature yellow tag. “The tag serves as graphic punctuation and a visual connection to our history.”
The redesign is part of the company’s new “Let’s talk about what’s possible” marketing strategy that launches May 9.
“It tells the story of our Blue Shirts and how we, as a company, aim to be an inspiring friend who helps customers understand what they want to do and how tech can help them achieve great, new things.”
