BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — The Eagles enter Super Bowl LII Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium as underdogs for the third straight game. New England, the defending Super Bowl champion, are favored by four and a half points, as of Sunday morning.
The Eagles evidently don’t mind being underdogs, having beaten Atlanta and Minnesota in that role in the NFC playoffs.
If they need some motivation, however, here a few other examples of sports upsets.
1. Buster busts up Tyson: In 1990, Boardwalk Hall was to be the site for a megafight between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. Buster Douglas canceled the fight with a shocking, 10th-round knockout over Tyson in Japan.
